					<description>FYI Flikr hasn't always been a Yahoo thing. Yahoo acquired Flikr sometime in March 2005. Flikr's rise to fame was mainly due to the popularity of blogging over the past 2-3 years, where many bloggers resorted to Flikr for their image galleries.</description>
