This year from the 6th to the 8th of December Melbourne will be hosting the annual Open Source Developers’ Conference (OSDC). The OSDC is an Australian run non-for-profit conference run by developers for developers on Open Source technologies. Talks and papers are mainly from people who write and use Open Source languages and are noted to be visited by many PHP/Python/Perl programmers. Talks range from introductory to deeply technical articles.

Currently the OSDC is requesting papers to be submitted for talks and the deadline is by July 12th 2006. You can view last years proposals here.

I am interested in attending a few different conferences over the next year and hope to attend this one and also the New York PHP conference next year.
